Hook, Yarn (Cotton)

This week I want to talk to you about crochet. Yes, that's right, crochet. Seems strange and maybe a little bizaar, believe me I am neither.

I've had a lot of wants buzzing around in my head lately, so I took hook in hand along with yarn of course (cotton) and I began to just crochet, just to see where this was going to take me. I started the chain, yes, the very beginning and nothing happened. Mind was busy, hands weren't cooperating. I took that chain a loose and started again. I started working my leaves pattern for the scarflettes got about 3 leaves done and I wasn't feeling that either. Yep, once again it came a loose.

I sat a spell and thought, watched a little TV, still with hook and yarn (cotton) in hand. Then it dawned on me. It's time to take that Pill Box to another level and I did. I did it!

It's not quite finished, needs some attention, but the hard part is over. Here is my new dream. This is really a fun hat. You can just do with it what you want.

Now to write the pattern. I know, I probably should have done that as I was working the hat, but between hook, yarn (cotton) and TV, there was no room for writing.

Now between the hook, yarn (cotton), TV and chocolate frosting I'm working another one. I love these hat's and while I'm at it, I'm going to start my winter hats. I need a jump on the season.

The hat is definitely cute. I thought I was the only person that sat and crocheted something amazing, only to wish I had written down the pattern as I was going along, LOL. Great success on the hats!!

Hi, I'm glad I stumbled across your blog. Very inspiring and interesting. I love to crochet, and I have my own business. Like you with the beautiful hat you made, I like it-I am trying to stock up on some winter crochet products as well. I'm croheting some lapghans and afghans for the Fall/Winter seasons coming up. Stocking up is a good thing. I hope you get plenty of hats done. I believe you will-your getting an early start.
